<우리집> 'The House Of Us' Movie Review

    We easily get nostalgic about our childhood, regardless of how we grew up. Childhood isn't perfect, but it brings up a peculiar feeling of longing, not even being sure of what to long for. I believe that this feeling can be better explained through movies, and <The House Of Us> depicts this in a careful and delightful way.   Hana is struggling to maintain her family as her parents' quarrels get worse. She comes across Yumi and Yujin living in her neighborhood, and Hana decides to help the sisters after finding out that they are about to move out of their house unwillingly. The three girls work together to protect their homes, and as they grow close they realize that you don't always have to be bonded by blood to become a family.   The movie is a low budget, but made by rising star director Yoon Ga-eun and renowned child actors, it is a heartwarming, precious masterpiece. <헤어질 결심> 'Decision To Leave' Movie Review

  It's clear that the Korean movie representing the year 2022 is <Decision To Leave>, the phenomenal movie directed by director Park Chan-Wook. The movie was awarded various prizes, including a prize in Festival de Cannes as Best Director , and is now waiting for the 95th Academy Awards to begin, as it was nominated for Best Foreign Language Film . With another exciting event coming up, Koreans are determined to witness yet another accomplishment.   In <Decision To Leave>, Park Hae-il stars as Hae-jun and Tang Wei stars as Seo-rae. They meet as police and suspect. Seo-rae is the prime suspect for murdering her husband, and Hae-jun follows her around to figure out who she really is. Seo-rae is depicted as a mysterious woman, but as time passes, Hae-jun gets attracted to her, and they gradually develop feelings for each other.    But this is only the beginning of a perhaps never ending story, and by the time you reach the end, you will find yourself ...
