<우리집> 'The House Of Us' Movie Review

We easily get nostalgic about our childhood, regardless of how we grew up. Childhood isn't perfect, but it brings up a peculiar feeling of longing, not even being sure of what to long for. I believe that this feeling can be better explained through movies, and <The House Of Us> depicts this in a careful and delightful way.

Hana is struggling to maintain her family as her parents' quarrels get worse. She comes across Yumi and Yujin living in her neighborhood, and Hana decides to help the sisters after finding out that they are about to move out of their house unwillingly. The three girls work together to protect their homes, and as they grow close they realize that you don't always have to be bonded by blood to become a family.

The movie is a low budget, but made by rising star director Yoon Ga-eun and renowned child actors, it is a heartwarming, precious masterpiece. You will find yourself laughing out happily, watching the innocent children rescuing their own world in their own, serious way.

Review: Warms and beats your heart.
