<노량: 죽음의 바다> 'Noryang: Deadly Sea' Movie Review

The end to Admiral Yi Sun-Sin's trilogy. The first movie, The Admiral: Roaring Currents(<명량>), was released in 2014 and the second one, Hansan: Rising Dragon(<한산: 용의 출현>), in 2022. It took 10 years for the series to conclude. For a decade, my life faced lots of changes and challenges along the way, but Admiral Yi's unyielding patriotism and ambition was unchanging. His belief reached me time to time whenever a new series was released. Noryang: Deadly Sea was finally the time to face Yi Sun-Sin's death in his ever-famous final battle, letting go to the 10 year long trilogy of our proud history.

The final battle was just so precious; every single moment was dear. A surprising number of star actors took part in the film, commemorating Yi's history and the end to the legendary trilogy. I was overwhelmed by the grandeur of it and my heart was captivated throughout the three hour screening.

Dear Yi Sun-Sin, thank you for protecting Joseon's marine territory in Imjin War's Japanese invasion. Farewell, and may you rest in peace.

Review: A grand farewell to our national hero.
