<전지적 독자 시점> 'Omniscient Reader: The Prophecy' Movie Review
An internet novel that only one person reads. The reader was a teenage boy. His life was hopeless, bullied in school every day. The novel was his fictional desire. The story went on for ten years until finally coming to an end, but with a dreadful ending. Disappointed, he writes an email to the author. Surprisingly the author writes back, telling him to change the ending himself if he disapproves of it that much. The world he lives in turns into the novel world. Monsters attack, cities are destroyed, missions are to be accomplished. Most importantly, he has to change the ending to the story. To accomplish that, he must persuade the hero of this novel. But the stubborn, doubtful hero seems pretty dangerous to deal with.
Watching the movie feels like you're playing a virtual game. The characters fight in a fantasy world, but every choice they make are the remnants of their past, the reality. Killing those surreal monsters seems to reflect the real side of men.
Review: Ferocity and bravery. It's already there.
